Bible Study - Sundays at 9:00am (1st – 5th grades)

Beginning Sunday, March 14, the Bible study time will move to 9:45am.

Each Sunday morning at 9:00am the children will meet in room 364 for fellowship, announcements, and singing.  At 9:25am the 1st-5th graders move to their Bible Study classes in the children’s department.  During the Bible Study hour, children discover biblical truths and how they apply to their lives. The children are taught God’s Word in creative ways, and they memorize Scripture verses so they won’t sin against God (Psalm 119:9,11).  Please see the link below for a list of classes in the children’s department.  Also, an overview of the curriculum used for each grade is provided.

SPLASH (Choir and Missions)
Sundays at 6:00pm in Room 364

From February through mid May we will meet on Sunday nights to praise God through song and discover what God is doing around the world. On certain Sundays we will also put into practice what we have been learning by leading in worship and going to serve in the community. Through songs we celebrate who God is, and through service we yield ourselves to be vessels for God to use. However, we are planning a 5 week "Creation Class" for the summer on Sunday nights. Look for more details this summer. Also, once school begins, we will have our fall choir kick off and start rehearsing for a children's musical to be presented in November.

WOW (small group Bible study)
Wednesdays at 6:30pm in children’s department  

From September to April, children in 1st-5th grades meet on the third floor in the children's department to study the Bible. Young children (1st grade) will learn to treasure the Bible and its Author, God. They will discover the characteristics of the Bible and its message of redemption. Middle children (2nd-3rd grade) will study the book of Proverbs and discover the difference between being wise and being foolish. Older children (4th-5th grade) will study how God's purposes will stand. They will learn to recognize God's providence in their lives and to joyfully trust His good purposes for them.
