Prayer the Great Adventure by Dr. David Jeremiah:
Want an adventure of a lifetime that will bring you closer to God? Know God and His plans for you by learning how to prayer more effectively. This book offers a step by step approach through the Lord's Prayer, the same prayer Jesus taught his disciples to pray. Discover the importance of praise, petition, protection and provision as elements of your prayer life. Matthew 6:9-13. This class will be two-fold. Half of the class will focus on studying the book and the other half will focus on the practical application of prayer, praying for specific needs within the body of Rocky Creek Baptist Church. The story of the Bible in its own words with events, characters, and teachings of the Bible arranged chronologically. The class will be led by Richard Kilpatrick and Bob Augustine. Every Believer a Witness:
God’s commands all believers to be a witness. In this study we address the areas of destroying Apathy: Why Aren’t We Motivated? Defeating Fear: Why Are We Afraid? Developing Know-How: What Do We Say? Appropriating Divine Power: How Can We See Results? Room 339.
Bible Study: What Happens at Death?
The class will cover death (save and unsaved) from the periods of time: the tribulation period, millennial reign, last judgment and final heaven. The class will be led by Keith Giddens. Room 338.
