PRESCHOOL MINISTRY
Children are very important to Jesus, and in fact on one occasion He said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 19:14). At Rocky Creek, children are important to us as well. We want preschoolers to know how much God loves them, and we want to teach them about God and the Bible through age appropriate classes and activities.
Jubilation Station
Jubilation Station is a fun time of singing and Bible lessons for Preschool children held each Sunday morning during the second morning service (11:15am). Children start in their normal Bible Study rooms for a snack, then they are off to Jubilation Station (held in the Theater). After Jubilation Station, children return to the normal Bible Study rooms to complete a craft related to the Bible lesson taught that morning.
The Train Station
All aboard! We are ready to head down the tracks and “train up a child in the way he should go” (Proverbs 22:6). The Gospel Choo-choo (K3) and the Jesus Express (K4-K5) leave the station each Sunday night at 6:00pm. During this discipleship time for preschoolers they hear Bible stories, make crafts, learn memory verses, and play games.
